Roberta Assiamah-Appiah (Mrs.) is the Deputy Auditor- General (DAG) in charge of the Educational Institutions Department – Southern sector. She had also served as DAG for Finance and Administration Department.
Roberta Assiamah-Appiah (Mrs.) joined the Audit Service in 1991 and was appointed Ag. Deputy Auditor-General in 2010 and in 2012 was confirmed the substantive DAG. Roberta Assiamah-Appiah (Mrs.) has undertaken special audit assignments. These include the audits of Ghana’s Mission in Berne, Switzerland, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Driver, Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA), and Judicial Service projects funded by DANIDA and the World Bank.
She has attended a number of Conferences and Seminars. Among them are Training of Trainers in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), Ghana; Institutional Leadership Workshop for Senior Managers, South Africa; World Congress of Accountants, Malaysia; and Management Development Programme for Senior Managers, South Africa.
She is a Chartered Accountant and holds Executive MBA in Finance. She was adjudged the overall best candidate in the May 2004 examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana.
