The National Audit Office (NAO), UK, in partnership with the Service provided a Technical Assistance training in Performance Audit data analytics and report writing. The training elaborated good practices that the Service can adopt on how to collate and interpret data obtained from covered entities during an audit. In addition, how to provide key highlights of audit conclusions in a performance audit report.

Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu, the Auditor-General, and Mr. Lawrence Ayagiba, Deputy Auditor-General for PSAD, respectively expressed their appreciation of the NAO to partner with the Service to provide technical trainings for staff members on emerging audit topics.

This initiative would be included by the Service’s activities under the Public Financial Management for Service Delivery.
