Speaking at an induction ceremony in Accra, the Auditor-General Mr. Daniel Yaw Domelevo charged the new staff to demonstrate high level of integrity. He said “you are going to audit the public accounts of this nation on my behalf as mandated by clause 3 of the article 187 of the 1992 constitution of Ghana”.

He reiterated “… when you go on the field, you are thus, a ‘General’ and a ‘General’ operates not only with authority but with respect”.
