In response to the directive of His Excellency the President of The Republic of Ghana, an announcement was made for a two (2) day national flood aftermath clean-up exercise, which was scheduled to start from 6:00am till 1:00pm from Friday 10th July and Saturday 11th July 2026.
In ensuring full participation, management of Audit Service engaged all its staff members through a communique for this national exercise. Staff attended in their numbers to this clarion call for the national clean up exercise, fully prepared and worked heartily together for this beneficial impact.
The leadership of the Service was not left out in the clean-up, with the newly appointed first female Auditor-General taking an active part in the clean-up exercise, whiles receiving support from her management team, made up of the Deputy Auditors-General of the Service.
Dr. Pamela Graham showed her appreciation to the staff for their support and noted that this exercise would not be a one-time activity, rather, would ensure that the Service engages in same frequently. She further encouraged all staff to learn to keep a clean and safe working environment, for a healthy life balance.
